About Me

My practice is devoted to meaningful, structural change within complex professional and family systems. High-demand environments, whether within the home or in the office, often require responsibility for children, aging parents, and multigenerational continuity. Insight alone does not necessarily shift enduring patterns. My work addresses change at a deeper level, where patterns are organized and sustained.

I am an EMDRIA Certified EMDR Therapist and Consultant, and EMDR is central to my clinical work. EMDR is a research-supported, body-based therapy that helps the brain and nervous system fully integrate unresolved experiences. When integration occurs, emotional reactivity softens, clarity increases, and responses become more intentional.

My work is also deeply informed by Bowen Family Systems theory, which offers a sophisticated understanding of multigenerational transmission, relational roles, and differentiation. This perspective strengthens the capacity to remain grounded within oneself while staying meaningfully connected to others.

Influenced by the work of Francine Shapiro, Gabor Maté, Stephen Porges, Deb Dana, Peter Levine, Murray Bowen, and Bessel van der Kolk, my approach integrates nervous system science with psychological depth. As a trained yoga instructor and Reiki practitioner, I also bring an embodied understanding of regulation and mind–body-spirit integration to this work. I believe that adaptive patterns are intelligent responses to earlier conditions. Therapy becomes a process of expanding capacity beyond those adaptations, allowing for greater steadiness, flexibility, and choice.

Therapy is co-created. I bring depth, curiosity, and collaboration to our work. I practice from a “bottom-up” framework. When the nervous system experiences safety and regulation, insight deepens naturally, causing relational and behavioral shifts.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New Jersey, Michigan, and Massachusetts. In New Jersey, I am approved to provide clinical supervision and consultation to other clinicians seeking licensure in the state or EMDRIA certification. Telehealth services are available to adults across these states, with in-person sessions offered in Chatham, New Jersey.
